The Grumman A-6 Intruder served the US Navy and Marine Corps from 1963 to 1997. While there are many examples of static A-6 Intruders on display from the east to the west coast, there are none that, I believe displays the sacrifice paid by the A-6 aircrew. Specifically, those men lost during war and peacetime operations. This memorial will include the squadrons and names of all Navy and Marines, almost 250 in all that paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Please help me honor those families that lost a son, brother, husband, and friend in the name of freedom.
